SIGNS OF SPRING
Our next event will be our Summer Show: Saturday 5th July at River Village Hall.
In spite of current unpredictable weather patterns there are
Show opens at 2pm (free entry) and there will be Prize giving, auction, raffle and cake! wonderful signs of Spring sprouting up in gardens,
Bring seeds, seedlings or a plant for the sales table! woodlands and fields all around us. Let Dover Flower Club
inspire you to take some nature indoors by joining our club to learn about all
things flowery.
Why not join us and show your flowers, veg and crafts? We encourage everyone to
give Showing a go – it’s a fun, social and rewarding event. You needn’t be an expert We meet on the fourth Monday of the month at Whitfield Village Hall, Manley
either, most of our long time competition goers and members are amateurs. Close, Whitfield, CT16 3LY. Meetings start at 7.15pm and are open to
members and visitors who share our love of flowers.
Race Night: 19th July at River Village Hall, 7.30pm-10pm. Free refreshments are available.

We have demonstrations of flower arranging, by well known enthusiasts in the
Autumn Show: Saturday 13th September [as for Summer Show] field, on the following dates:
Members free, visitors £8.00
Coffee Morning & AGM: Saturday 1st November
Monday 28th. April a demonstration by Sue Flight entitled “Spring is in the Air.’
Sue is a member of NAFAS and demonstrates her skills nationally.
