                      Welcome to September's newsletter

A big thank you to Paul Holt again for a smashing photograph for the
front cover. I pinched it from your article, Paul. I hope you don't mind.

2026 calendars are coming along nicely, so please remember to place your
order promptly. I'm hoping to publish them in the first part of December,
just in time for Christmas presents..

Well, I had a glut of plums this year from the allotment, so many that
Linda and I couldn't eat or freeze them all, so I gave them to our
neighbours. What a surprise when Nadine knocked on my door with a
plum crumble, and that went down very well, thank you, Nadine.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the newcomers who have
      recently moved into the village.

There doesn't seem to be a lot going on in the village at the moment, so
if you have any articles, events, or birthdays to share, please let us know
before the 15th of the month, and we will include you in the magazine.

Well, with a full belly of plum crumble, I will see you all next month.

      Colin
